“三字经”大比拼 即兴剧场运动进入学校

每句台词只限用三个字表达，如何在这样的规则下呈献精彩的演出？本地10所学校的近40名学生就将在来临星期五晚上，在国家图书馆戏剧中心进行“三字经”比赛。
　　不过，此“三字经”非彼“三字经”，学生并不是要比赛背诵《三字经》，而是通过表演游戏，即兴运用每句只限三个字的台词表演，来个“劲爆剧场大比拼”。
　　德明政府中学将主办本地首场“劲爆剧场大比拼”公演，推广“即兴剧场运动”(TheatreSports)。
“三字经”是即兴剧场运动的其中一项表演游戏。在星期五的演出中，对垒的参赛队伍还将分别挑战对手玩多达13种表演游戏，如“抢帽游戏”、“劲歌金曲”等。
在现场的观众赋予两队选手人物角色、人物关系、场景等后，选手便得马上在限定的时间内，表演出符合游戏规则的短剧。
　　来自澳门的即兴剧场运动注册专业导师李俊杰（34岁）受访时说，即兴剧场运动的表演游戏其实有超过300种。而即兴剧场运动除了考验参赛者的即兴表演技巧外，还考验参赛者的急智、创意与合作精神。”
　　除了德明政府中学的学生外，其他将参加的学生来自华侨中学、立化中学、莱佛士书院、中华中学、南洋女中、中正总校、南洋初院、维多利亚初院和英华初院。
　　各校学生将被分配到不同小组，在当晚进行“竞赛”。他们在上星期，已到德明政府中学参加了为期一个星期的工作坊，从李俊杰导师身上学习基本的即兴剧场运动技巧与原则。
　　即兴剧场运动由世界著名戏剧家约翰史东(Keith Johnstone)所创，在美洲、欧洲、澳洲和日本各地十分流行，有定期的表演和赛事，也是爱好剧场的中学生和大学生热衷参与的活动。
　　澳门戏剧家李俊杰在2001年将它从加拿大引入澳门，成为中文即兴剧场运动的创导人，并在不同华语地区如香港、马来西亚与新加坡推广这项比赛。
　　德明政府中学双文化课程部门主任王俊义（32岁）说，他是在2005年首次在澳门观赏即兴剧场运动比赛，认为这项活动的潜力非常大。
　　他说：“这项运动通过游戏激发学生的创意，而且让他们学习人生道理，例如如何按照情况表达自己，通过沟通达到双赢的局面等。
“这些技巧都是在社会上工作、做生意时需要用上的，也是本地学生较缺乏的。”
　　他指出，即兴剧场运动虽然是项比赛，但是气氛轻松，队伍若要胜出，必须与对手合作，呈献精彩的表演，才能获得评审与观众给予高分。
　　他说：“这与在新加坡青年节争金牌、银牌，或是其他比赛里面争排名的状况很不一样。学生在较劲的同时，又能不论输赢，为对方打气，我们希望学生有这样的气度。”
　　他也认为，由于是即兴演出，观众不会要求完美的表现，这也给予学生“失败的空间”，帮助他们学习接受失败，重新尝试。
　　他说：“这也是我们希望传达的教育理念与信息。学校计划明年再次主办这项比赛。”
　　澳门导师李俊杰在澳门、香港、马来西亚与本地都办过工作坊。比较各地的学生，他认为本地学生较“慢热”，投入活动之前态度较谨慎，会先观察别人怎么做。另一个特色则是在表演时使用多种语言。
　　他说：“有些学生告诉我他们‘怕输’。不过，他们在投入后都能够很好地发挥创意，懂得在表演时运用他们对周围事物与现象的观察，例如地铁上无人肯让位等。”
　　学习过即兴剧场运动技巧的学生，都表示获益不浅。
华侨中学高中部与德明政府中学的一些学生也在今年8月飞往澳门，参加了澳门的“劲爆剧场大比拼”。有好些学生因此对即兴剧场运动产生兴趣，在这次的工作坊中担任“助教”，协助其他同学学习即兴剧场运动技巧。

A form of improvisational theatre which uses the format of a competition for dramatic effect.

Created by Keith Johnstone, TheatreSports™ is a popular theatre form in America, Europe, Australia and Japan. Teams challenge each other to a TheatreSports™ performance game and perform scenes based on audience suggestions. In addition to being a test of participants' improvisation skills, TheatreSports™ puts to test participants' spontaneousness, creativity and team work skills.

This year, Dunman High School is going to bring TheatreSports to Singapore, and stage Singapore's first National TheatreSports™ competition,

Students from different secondary schools and junior colleges work presents audience with the ever first TheatreSports™ competition show in Singapore. Singaporeans can finally experience for themselves the electrifying atmosphere present in an improvisation theatre.

A one-week workshop will be held for secondary and junior college students, before they are put on stage for the competition. With these energetic youths pioneering TheatreSports formally at the Drama Centre (NLB), we can all finally experience for ourselves the electrifying atmosphere of an improvisational theatre.
